Is there a comparison between all those available Adapters?

Hey Folks,

i am wondering if there's a comparison between all those 35mm things out there somewhere...

What especially intrests me what the big difference is between the selfmades with the canon Ee-A screens ( like AgenZasBrothers - Die Filmemacher - Vincent Reinhardt und Zacharias Reinhardt and Daniel's GG-Holders for 35mm DOF Adapters ), the mid-priced like Welcome to shoot35! and the expensive ones like the letus35 and MINI35.

Thanks,
Daniel

There are differences in all of them on many levels. The actual screen that is used can affect the overall image in the way of sharpness, contrast and I've heard saturation. Think of it the different screens as putting a layer in photoshop over your image that is all white with a certain low alpha percentage and then an adjustment layer with a blur filter applied. As you change the alpha level or the blur layer it will have a similar effect on your image.
The design of the device as a whole as different pro's and con's for different situations as well. A box shaped one like an M2 means you almost have to have a rod system, though you'll want rods before long with any solution because of how awesome they are ( just don't spend $150 for what is in essence pipes). There is also the difference in the way the ground glass is moving. Some vibrate, some rotate.
The big difference between the DIY's and manufactured ones are all about avoiding any trial and error time as well as build time and just getting one that works, but you pay for that time you save.
As for a side by side, I have no idea.
