Is this for macro work? If you mount a Nikon lens on a PL camera you'll lose infinity focus, just in case you weren't aware.

RED sell one and I'm pretty sure Les Bosher will sell them too:

The RED one is not a Nikon to PL, it's a replacement front for the RED to take Nikons. Les will definitely do one, but as I say you'll not get infinity.

I've looked around for this type of adapter before and I don't think I found anything very promising. I know I asked Les about a reverse PL/Nikon adapter and he said it was impossible.

The main issue with a Nikon/PL adapter is that the flange focal distance of PL is 52mm but Nikon is only 46.5mm. This means that the Nikon lens needs to sit inside the PL mount by 5.5mm to properly focus. A straight up adapter probably exists but as mentioned above likely will become macro because of the FFD discrepancy.

Moving this to alt imaging.

You can also do it by including an optic, in fact Optex did it for Nikon to B4, MTF services now has them for sale, and B4/PL FFDs are similar.
