Mizel - I think you are going to be shocked at just how big Canada is. Ottawa and the two Alberta Province cities are 3500km appart. And none of these cities are near our West or East coasts which span a distance of over 7500km.

I could not find a list of all the european rental houses on
the PSTechnik site. Can you point me into the right direction?

I just want to mention I am located in Toronto, Canada and have a complete mini 35 Canon XL1s rig along with myself as DOP for hire to work on projects that would benefit from using this system.

Most recently I finished shooting a short film "Sous Le Jour" (a fake french film with English subtitles) currently in post production. You can see some screen shots and test images shot on www.starcentral.ca/souslejour.htm.

Please have a look and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you & Happy Holidays!

Hey all,

Couple of answers:

Rob, the full European list is on P+S's site but unfortunately with the frame set they use I can't send you a direct link.

If you click on the digifilm products, and then Mini35, there is a link for the european houses.

Grame and Johnathan, I just finally watched the behind the scenes featurette on the 28 Days later and the answer is they used a hell of a lot of post effects on the final theatrical image. The digital original stuff they use in the featurette is down right beatiful compared to what made the screen, but then again, they didn't want a beautiful look for the movie. I'll be seeing a raw film out of Mini35/DVX100 footage tomorrow and will report back.

Thanks for the pointers Mizell. That site is sometimes too
difficult to navigate. Anyway, I found the list and also the direct
link without the frame set http://www.pstechnik.de/datasheets/a...35_rentals.htm
