Encinema 35 adapter

Hi all, I've not heard much discussion about this adapter on here. Granted its home made and a low end product. But i'd like to hear some comments. I've seen footage of the adapter on youtube and it looks decent. But like all 35 adapters in this range, the footage produces distinct photography. Sort of an effect. Something the Twoneil's adapter does as well. Encinema prices theirs at $200. Worth it?
