The lens would be specific to the light manufacturer. The lens is not sold separately, except as a replacement. Were you looking for a recommendation for a fresnel light, such as Arri, Mole, or LTM? If so, for what application?

oops, I guess I don't really know what i'm talking about, but i'm building an agus35 and there's an overexposed light spot in the middle. I ran a search and came up with a thread from back in april, somebody had the same problem, and it was suggested he/she get a fresnel to reduce and scatter the hotspot. Now as far I could understand a modern day fresnel is an adaptation and miniturization of the old 1800's light house lens, now applied to optics. I'm really sorry if I dont know what I'm talking about. Thanks for any help.

I had a fresnell in an IKEA catalog :) It was in a book sign (so you could see in detail the pics in the catalog).
It is posible to see the circles of the fresnell throu the GG. Not good (at last mine fresnell had the circles big enough to be visible for the camera).
A better solution would be to use "condenser lens" (they are plane-convex lenses). "condenser lens" are better (and probably more expensive) quality than fresnells (they work the same).

Get a 35mm Focusing Screen

Get a 35mm Focusing Screen -

They have the proper focal length fresnal lens attached right to them, as well as a ground glass included!
