mini35 400 vs 300?

What is the difference between the 300 and 400 series?

Elmar Tewes September 7th, 2004 03:42 PM

when i dont mix it up totally, the new version has a oszilating ground glass and the old version (version 2002) has the rotating ground glass

Greg Milneck September 7th, 2004 05:23 PM

so do I assume the oscalating ground glass is better?

Elmar Tewes September 7th, 2004 05:29 PM

well, at least on the official p&s technik side both are sold at the same price. but i assume the oscilating one doesnt has the problem with seeing a rotating ground glass anymore (on certain circumstances) because it doesnt has a rotating one anymore.
but thats just what i think, perhaps someone else has real facts.

Just so, Elmar. Hiding the "vortex of death" was a problem on the old version. I'm much happier using the 400 series aka "Oszie".

Also, the 400 series works with the DVX100 series and the PD150/170 series, via interchangeable relays.
