Where to get +10 macro for the cheapest?

Where's the cheapest place for a 72mm +10 macro filter? I'll probably end up getting one on ebay for 20 bucks, since I'm not out to make a super high quality product.

20 bucks on eBay is a good price. Local shops around here sell them for much more than that. I grabbed a no-name brand off of ebay for 17 shipped, I've only done two tests with it so far. I don't have any brand name glass to compare it to, but the no-name isn't so bad.

Could you send me a link to the seller you got it from?

Even if it's not perfect, I'm sure it's sufficient for my purposes.

Thanks.

Also, I just have to post some early footage from my home built adapter (this one was made of junk around the house worth about 2-3 dollars):

Matthew,

Just a caveat. I bought a +10 macro for about $70.00 from a reputable store- Tiffen. It is a great macro lens - BUT- there is blurring on the edges of macro lenses because of the way they are made. I have found out the hard way, an achromatic dioptre is the way to go to avoid colour abberation and distortion caused by the macro.

Just for your info.

Interesting....I've seen amazing shots with achromatic diopters so I'm tempted to get one, but this is more an experiment than an adapter for production use (though I hope to get useable images with it.) I found a set of macros on ebay (+1,+2,+4,+10) for just over 20 shipped and the seller has a good rating so I assume they at least work. I think I'm going to go with those just because of price, but were I to try and make a production-quality adapter, I'd definitely consider otherwise.

I'll post some pictures in a week after the macros arrive and I go to home depot for PVC pipe.

Sorry it's been over 60 days and eBay has deleted my previously won auctions.

But I think this is the same seller: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...514396663&rd=1

No macro yet, but I bet it'll be good when I get one.
