Letus Ultimate Setup

Hi everyone,

I am about to invest into a Letus Ultimate lens adapter and was wondering the following:

Is the Letus Rod Support System and Letus Ultimate able to interface with the:

1- RedRock MicroMattebox
2- RedRock MicroFollowfocus V2

I am pretty sure it will work fine, just wondering if anyone has a similar setup.

Thanks

You can use anything you want as long as it's 15mm rail mountable, which the MicroFollow Focus and the matte box are. Get the V2 rail system as it's much better than V1, also you may need additional screw-on extensions for your rails, depending on which lenses you use.

Hope this helps!

Or just skip the Letus rods all together and get a Zacuto rod setup. That's what I did, and we're able to mount our Ultimate and Red Rock matte box.

How much?

Hey,

How much did it cost and can you send me a link with a good model I should look at. Zacuto has an endless array of variety and I would like your recommendation since you are really happy with their product.

Thanks

Here's the one we bought: DOF Docu Baseplate Kit - Zacuto

It was for our Letus Ultimate.

Z-Grip

Can a Z grip be added on that later for shoulder use?

Personally, I didn't like the Letus V2 rails. I ended up selling them and I bought the Red Rock Rail system which I mount the Ultimate on as well as the Follow Focus and Matte Box, all of Red Rock.
