Someone is selling a homemade on ebay...for $1,500!

Not only that, the guy has the audacity to market his product as a "mini35 kit". I laugh. Very, very hard. And then I pity the person who buys a camera on an L-shaped wooden plank for $1,500. Doesn't the guy know you could buy a full micro35 kit plus all the adapters you'd ever need for that kind of money? Pathetic. |
No what would be pathetic is if anyone actually bought that...
|
Looks like the first stateside Marla35/DV35M clone.
The really sad part is, they didn't even trim the excess part off the wooden plank. |
That is really pathetic - you can easily get a mini35 from redrock micro for that price.
They spec out several camcorders that you could use with it - maybe they'll trim the plank to the shape of your camcorder |

Worse still is that this adapter is such a poor design, even the Marla people wrote that they had to spend hours and hours removing grain frame-by-frame in order to get an acceptable image from their setup. And I can't even imagine what it must be like, lugging that huge plank around with two cameras attached... |
