Just a request

Could you make that video full size? I'm curious!

Hi Quinn - SOme nice grabs.

What's your opinion of the Sg35 - what lenses did you use for the grabs?

I must say even though they are jpegs and have been compressed, some clean grabs.

Hi Yasser,

Used a Canon EF MK1 50mm f1.8 prime lense wide open, XM2 set to f1.8.
the footage looks amazing for indoor on the TV full DV..

I like the unit , aside from the awkwardness (holding/focusing the whole unit) of it all its really functional for getting that filmlike DOF..
I have ordered the Letus35 and am eager to do some comparisons..

Cheers

Quinn

Quinn,
Where you able to get the Letus35 for the comparison you wanted to do?

Eniola,
I am in the process of upgrading Quinn's SG35 unit, due to the distortion he got in the image of the original setup.

Im sure Quinn will do a fair comparison once i send his unit back to him

Awesome Wayne but check this out, how will your adapter work with a MatteBox. I just bought this exact one on ebay

I also saw the grabes Quinn did and they looked really nice.
Some pictures looked a lil bit grainy though, is that what you mean by the distortion??

Eniola,

Please check the pictures here for the SG35 with a matte box:

I think any graininess you see in the footage is due to low light.
