Quyen flipped me off!

I got the L35 flip today and it is nasty. I have not been able to test it yet except around the house, and I must say I love Quyen!! And since I found out I will soon be a father...it its a boy Letus/a girl Leta middle name 35:)

Damn Man !!

For just a split second, I read (in my head) "Quyen RIPPED me of" :)

I guess its always good to read before you jump!!

What is the camera that your testing it on? I'd like to see some stills or some footage.

I have an XL2 and a dvx100. I'll be getting some footage in the morning with both. I'm telling you, I have the original Letus and it will be getting the upgrade. This is phenomenal to be able to cut out the image flip.

You should do image grabs with both cameras. Original Letus image (flipped in post), vs. new, flipped Letus. Same shot, done on same camera, of course. It would be interesting to see the difference!

Honestly Bill, I trust my eyes and both letus versions have a great image. But with the image flip I have no need to use the original, but again I will upgrade so I can shoot with both cameras and have no need to flip in post. Trust me, if you get the flip you will not go back.

OK, but I think Bill meant to test it so others can decide for themselves. An issue could be the light loss. Some people might need an adapter in low light conditions, if the flip is loosing a stop or more, it could be crucial.
But, it does seem, if one has flipped once, one will never flip again.

Hello!

That is great news! I thought $600 was a bit expensive, but i'm gonna save my money and buy one. I mean, you know he's not sitting around, he is a man on a mission. I'll support the Letus revolution!
(Can't wait for Letus to start on matte boxes and rod supports!)
