how long should i cut the rods?

how long do your rods need to be with an xl1s,letus,35mm lens, and a matte?

Depends on the Mattebox and the 35mm lens....make a chain of the Letus, and the LONGEST lens you will use [like a long zoom - that might need support] and the mattebox - and work it out from there.

I find that 16" or over is good for longer lenses - you might go to 18" for safety [not sure how long the letus is....]

I have a rod system. I would be interested to know how to support the Letus on it. Is there a clamp/mounting for it ???

How about rod extensions? Threads in one and screws on t'other? Then you've got the flexibility of both worlds? Not toooo long and not tooo short . . just a thought!

Hey ho . . if I can help somebody . . .

Grazie
