ef-s lenses and 35mm adapter

Jason,

Not compatible. These lenses have a smaller image circle than normal EF lenses, which is not at all what you want when using a 35mm adapter.

Also the focal distance from lens to focal plane (in your case, ground glass or whatever) is different from normal EF lenses. That's why the "S" is in EF-S... It stands for "short back-focus."

Sorry!

Hehe

FD/FL stuff works great and to the best of my knowledge, all of it is manual focus. Some EF lenses can't be adjusted manually for things like zoom and aperture, and must be connected to a camera.
