Frame transfer ccds

Greeting to all of you experimental videoheads!

For a DIY camera project, I thought of looking up a frame transfer ccd, or a full frame ccd if there's none can be found from the other one.
I've read that Dalsa's Origin camera has one but 4K seems too much, I'd prefer 1K (HD) instead...
Does anybody have an idea where can I get such a device? I looked on several sensor manufacturer pages without success. I only found still camera ccd's from that kind.
Somebody started a thread earlier that if a still camera's ccd is only slow because of it's A/D then it may be a good idea to use it's analog output with external A/D, I don't know...

Thanks,Szilard
