Music Video shot with Panasonic SDX900 and Pro35 Adapter

Hey Guys,

Just shot this video last Sunday at Austin Studios. I'll explain anything if anyone has any questions.

all in all it looks good, but it really doesnt look sharp at all, i realize you are using the adapter, heck maybe it's the compression.....but this versions just seems way to soft in the foreground, just my 2bits

i really dig the intro move and post-shaking and the silhouette work in the middle...VERY cool looking

Very nicely done. Congrats. Very cool video.
About the quality itself, it doesn't really look better than music videos shot with a DVX100a I have seen. Maybe it's the compression and or screen size. Maybe when seen in a bigger screen and uncompressed the difference will be there. But well done.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. It looks as though it could have been shot with the DVX.
That's not a bite on the aesthetic. The video looks great.
But in all honesty the DVX can go to bat for the SDX if it has to.
It does so as B camera on "Laguna Beach" for the SDX.

Hey i liked it overall, i though the post shaking effect was a bit cheezy. nice framing.

Looked good to me.

It is a bit silly to compare the quality of the SDX900 with a DVX100 based on a web video of this size. First of all there is the compression, and second of all grain is reduced because of the reduction in pixture size.

Finally because it is not full resolution you cannot pick up on the difference between sharpness of cameras. On one recent production I did with the XDCAM I had to mix one or two shots from a DVX100. The difference was literally night and day. No comparison. But then this is how it should be considering the price difference! :)

I agree, DVX and SDX are night and day...
