35mm and 16mm DOF difference????

I have a question about DOF. Do we get the same result when we use 35mm cinelens on 35mm camera and 16mm cinelens on 16mm camera? If my question is not very clear, I wanted to understand if using 16mm cinema lenses on 2/3 inch single CMOS chip camera (like SI1920) have the same kind of DOF field as when using 35mm lense on 35mm film camera.

:*) thanks for you kind answers and hope this is not a very stupid answer.

this thread touches a little bit the subject:
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?p=474794

But roughly it(DOF) is inverse proportional to image plane planar dimension(like diagonal) and proportional to iris size. But it is not related to focal lenght.

In other words small iris numbers like 1.8, 2.0(actually big iris size) and larger image plane sizes mean shallow depth of field.
