P+S Technik Mini35 Handheld?
 

I'm doing a low budget shoot the next two weekends and was able to rent a mini35 adapter. I've read other posts here and understand the basics of how it works.

My question is aimed at those who have used it before. How possible would a four day shoot with the adaptor be if I chose to go primarily handheld? Comfort, weight, and focus are my main concerns.

I'd be using Zeiss primes 25mm, 50mm and 85mm. I understand the lenses must be wide open and that takes away a great deal of depth of field, but I figure this is the reason I rented the adaptor in the first place.

Along with the focus question, should I spend the extra money on a larger follow focus (the large knobs for easier focusing - not sure if I used the proper name)? I'd have to attach the bars to the adaptor to use this which could cause the camera operator discomfort and it doesn't seem worth the cost if I'm not using a matte box.

My knowledge of these accessories is limited and any assistance would be appreciated as I'm trying to do this the least expensive and most effective way possible.
