i will build vibrating gg-holders within 24hours

Ok i made a fast'n dirty homepage for ordering my static/vibrating gg-holders and wax-gg tutorial. If you cant build yourself a vibrating gg-holder you can order a professional one from me. And dont forget if you need custom made parts to fit your own adapterdesign - just ask me.

If you need a gg-holder fast i will try to build it within 24hours and ship it asap.

Orders via e-mail please.

Wow Daniel,
I can see this as a very, very helpful resource for those looking to DIY.

Sam Jankis November 15th, 2006 10:48 PM

Very cool. I'm a big fan of cheap and expendable.

Paul Watkins November 15th, 2006 11:22 PM

Daniel,

have you thought about accepting paypal from verified members?

Tony Relph November 16th, 2006 02:29 AM

Very nice Daniel. Just one question, how are the focusing screens held inside the holder as I cant see a recess. Does it use clips or do you glu the screen in place?

Carl Jakobsson November 16th, 2006 09:17 AM

Hi!

I was wondering about "Needs ... size modified Canon Ee-S/Ee-A focusing screens". What do you mean by modified?
Also, do you have any pancake motors in stock?

Daniel Schaumberger November 16th, 2006 09:59 AM

Hi Carl,

the Canon screens are 38.5x26.2mm you have to cut/grind them smaller to 36x24mm to fit the thorlabs vibrating gg-holder. Due to the margins only 33x21mm are viewable but thats enough. S35 gate is 24x18mm.
Yes I will get some motors if you cant order from USA.

To > Hi Tony,
the focusing screens will be glued with black silikone into the holders.
Dont use super glue (the gases will destroy your focusing screen).
I have custom made gg-holders for development purposes which holds the focusing screens with screws and plastic-clips in place if you are interested.

Hi Daniel,

Are you still offering this service? I emailed you last week about the cost of sending a Vibrating GG holder for a Nikon extension to Australia.

Cheers, Doug.
