Tripod for Mini35 Setup

I am looking for recommendations from other Mini35 Users. I have a Bogen 510 and Cartoni Focus head that I use currently, and they work OK. However after adding lenses, mattebox, marshall monitor, I think the weight is a little too much for these heads. Does anyone have recommendations for a tripod head that produces excellent results with this setup?

Dan,

It will definitely overwhelm your 501 head. Believe me, I tried. What I ended up getting was a Miller DS-20 head. It's a really solid fluid head that can support the weight. Paired with some carbon fiber sticks and you're good to go.

I was researching this very thing. I haven't purchased, but take a look at the Libec LS-55. Supports (as I recall) 8-20 lbs. For my fully decked out XL-H1 (with RedRock M2, FF, Matte Box, Marshall monitor and AB Brick), I need the stronger head and the LS55 looks like the ticket.
