DIY Static 35 on HV20

The light gathering on the single CMOS HV20 is superior to my single CCD ZR200 (of course!). I bet a 3CCD Panasonic GS could probably do well, but that's not the point here. With the brighter image, the HV20 can "see" more of the focus screen so you get a wider FOV. It needs help from a macro to focus though. And the max zoom is a hair above half. So make sure to use speed 1 on your zoom. The grain from the CMOS (also apparent under low light) plus the Nikon Type D seem to mix so I can't tell which is which. Obviously nowhere near Brevis quality.
