35mm adaptor baffle question
 

Anybody tried to insert a light baffle (such as a black plate, metal or plastic) with a film gate-like hole cut in it, just behind the GG?

I think it may cut down more on internal reflections, while also giving the user a consistent starting frame for the camcorder's framing/zoom settings (my FX7 has no numeric zoom readout, just a W/T thermometer).

I'm going to try this next and would appreciate input from anybody who has boldly gone before...
