Which Redrock Micro product should I get for a V1u?
 

I am considering buying a Redrock Micro (www.redrockmicro.com) to work with a V1u for filmmaking. Which product or bundle should I get? Keep in mind, when I was checking out their info page for cameras (http://www.redrockmicro.com/camera_r...ndations.html), it said the V1u doesn't need much else past the HD bundle. Also, I'm going with Nikon lenses.

Also, do any of the packages include lenses? Or do I buy those seperately?

You buy lenses sepeartly.
I think you will find that most people recommend Nikon lenses (they are the most readily available used) and get the absolute fastest lens you can find. The cinematographer package comes with a PL mount - I don't think you want that.
In terms of the complete package, the issue item for me is the accessory pod. If you know what your set up warrants it, great, otherwise its just another piece of gear.
I recently bought the Indie Bundle and then added the follow focus (which I would definitly recommend.) The only two items I wish I had gotten with the order were the power adapter and maybe the case (although I think you can get something that will work as a case for a little cheaper.

standard photography store is a good place to start - especially asking for used lenses.
E-bay may also be a good bet.
There are so many Nikon lenses out there that it's hard to wrap your head around all of the possibilites. This site maybe helpful but it also might be overwhelming

Again I would start with trying to find a good solid 50mm, 80mm and 105mm or thereabouts that are as fast as possible.
