Brevis Matte box ? I thought it was supposed to be $170.00?

Dennis,

I was looking at some of your products and prices and noticed that the matte box is close to $500.00! This is a different from a post before on your forum stating :

"The mattebox (clips on to a provided 72mm adapter ring, holds two 4x4s) and flag should come in around $170, and the blimp/suspension/fur cover around $350. Cool huh?"

What happened to the original awesome pricing?

David, we have a few of those still...just ended up going with the dual rotating stage design. If you're interested, email.

Hi,

long time no see :) :(

What is the difference between the cheaper and the later matte box. I'm still disappointed to see that the current matte box is still the same (one flag design) :(

I would also like to see pics of both and what the differences are between the two designs. Thanks for the response.

Dennis
Not trying to crash the thread, but I would like the new matte box as well, also the full blown Brevis rig. I have e-mailed several times and have had no response, except for a generic " we will be availble at some point in the near future " type message. I had inquired about a possible relay lens for the HD100 as well. What course of action would you recommend I take to get a response from Cinevate? I am pleased to see you guys busy-great products.

Hayes, join the Cinevate forums... you'll get a more timely response via posting or PMing Dennis. Not much front-end at Cinevate yet.

The Cinevate relay lens is still in development, as far as I know.
