35mm test
 

hello all, Ive just recently become obsessed with the 35mm look but of course thought i would try to make one before spending money I dont have, this is my first test with it on a DVX100b I havent made the GG move on the vibrating motor yet but before i do i wanted your proffestional opinion first, here are two images i took a screen cap , just looking for some hoenest answers..also the camera and lens I got from a freind for free and took it al apart i thinks its from the 60-70s..old camera I didnt even buy the ground glass yet, i found some plastic stuff at the dollor store looked the same so I tried it

The photos show typical first attempt images, that are not unusual for a static adapter set up. The dust and dirt speck detract from the images, and they are extremely grainy.

Those of us that have had an interest in adapters have all tried our own versions. Gradually, it becomes clear that a moving (spinning or vibrating) and quality engineered ground glass is what will make a decent image.

call me crazy, but i actually really like those caps, they've got some kind of surreal quality to them, the grain is pretty cool too, i'd hang on to that setup just incase you ever want to shoot something that looks like that.

check out the letus35 adapters, they're affordable and i've seen some sweet footage with them.
