I noticed in the manual for the HD2 that it doesn't charge when plugged in while the camera is recording. My question is does the camera actually run off the AC and just doesn't recharge the battery? I am going to use the camera to shoot a series of interviews while plugged into AC. I wanted to make sure that the battery wouldn't give out part way through the process.

Any help is appreciated.
