I'm looking at the possibility of making my own SMPTE Timecode slate, but I'm wondering if anyone knows who sells the boards for these things? I think I have the rest figured out and sourced, it's just a matter of finding someone who makes the electronics. If anyone knows, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Kit

I'd love to have one of these too. Just curious how it connects to the camera?

Hi, I'm the guy who is making this. I'm working with a small electronics assembly company in the UK ( I live in spain ) on some professional prototypes.

The software/ hardware seems pretty bullet proof at the moment, as I have tried to keep it simple as possible. I'm working on the high brightness LED version at the moment, well, when the parts arrive, hopefully today, and I may have a stripboard version working by this easter monday.

I have put a couple of very bad videos of the hand wired versions here

I've been working very long hours on my little project, and probably have an answer/solution for you.
http://es.geocities.com/mart_in_medina/WiP5.html The site is a bit rough and ready, but I think I hope you can get the basic info from it

I sort of update it daily, so the datasheet is a bit out of date, by at least 3 days

Hope this helps

bye for now
