Since there is an issue with the .m2t files from the Firestore (timecode issue) and Edius, my questions is this. Will Edius read the native QT HDV files? The firestore has an update to the Pro HD model, that will record in native QT HDV format for FCP.

Your question is very specific. I'd suggest that you e-mail Canopus support about this.
