We're still playing with our new camera. Now we're having problems getting the video to display on a small Marshall HD/SD production field monitor. We're coming from the video out on the side of the camera to the HD-SDI in on the monitor.

On the camera output menu, we have:
SDI out select to HD
HD-SD Aspect to 16:9
Video Out select to HD Y
iLink Mode set to AV/C
Live & Play set to off

We know the monitor works because when we hook it up to HD-SDI from the F75 deck, it plays video.

Any suggestions?

Video out of the side is SD Composite video. The HD/SD SDI is on the back of the camera.

You can switch the composite output to HD-Y for using an EFP monitor mounted to the camera. I have also used this on an HD monitor that has component input. Just attach to the Green connection, and you'll have a black and white HD signal.

Duh! Using the correct output makes a big difference. It works now. Thanks Greg.
