Is there a way on the Mac to capture M2T files and split them into 4.7Gb chunk to burn onto a DVD??
I've used DVHSCAP but this only allows me to capture the whole thing and I end up with a 13gb file which I can't backup.
Thx

Not without transcoding.
Best option is to load in chunks or get Blu-Ray.

Try MPEG Streamclip - www.squared5.com. You'll still have to capture the footage but it should help you compress it for DVD. And, oh yeah, it's free.

That's what I meant by transcoding.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Toast allow multiple disc spanning?
Just double checked and it does.
