I turned my GL2 on and the screen had a rainbow color to it and it would not play tapes or record. It would turn on though. I sent it to canon for a repair estimate and they sent me one back for 412.00. In the repair description they only listed it as labor and minor parts 412.00. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this one way or another. I felt like they should have told me what the problem was and what it was going to take to do the repair. If any of you have had previous experience in doing or having repairs done I welcome your thoughts.
