It's one of the most popular formats nowadays due to the excellent compression quality. I have the workaround (transcoding with Carbon)... but why not edit natively?

Make sure you have latest QT installed on your computer. Ervin Farkas November 7th, 2008, 01:25 PM Version 4.6 and the QT that came with it. Warren Kawamoto November 7th, 2008, 03:03 PM Works fine for me here too, I think you need to update that QT you have from 4.61. Robert M Wright June 10th, 2009, 06:54 PM I wish Edius would let you export using any codec you have installed on your system. To me, that would make Edius far more useful. Alan Anthony Lacey June 11th, 2009, 10:04 AM Works nicely here into Procoder3 Alan Robert M Wright June 11th, 2009, 11:57 AM I just downloaded the trial version of Edius Neo 2 last night. It's nice to see the option to output h264 in an MP4 container. I would still rather output h264 directly using x264 to do the compression though. |
