You may want to take a look at this thread. Shows how to build your own adapter. http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17195

I have heard that Canon is making an adapter for the GL2, but I don't know any details.

They can be used o the XL1 with an adapter, but to my knowledge they cannot be used on the Gl1/2, and it is unlikely any adapter can make a difference given that the lens is fixed - not removeable.

I contacted Brian at Canon USA and he states that there is no adapter for the gl2 set to be produced. It is possible that it is being made for Norway. Where did you hear this Trond?

What is a fisheye? See http://www.centuryoptics.com/products/dv/3x_ultra_fisheye/3xfisheye.htm. That's a fisheye! Hope this helps,

Seth:
I was told about the adapter from a local camera shop.
(They sell Canon and other brands)
I will contact a few other shops here to see if they know anything.

Tried to contact Canon Norway, but no answer. Maybe they are closed during Christmas?

If I get any new information, I will post it.
