hi all what does wide angle do when zoomed? does irt give a 16:9 feel?

I assume you mean a wide-angle adapter lens, like the WD-58. No, it doesn't change the aspect ratio of the frame. It simply reduces the effective focal length of the lens. That is, your frame is not quite as tight when zoomed in.

will give you a general idea, although it is a 0.65 not a 0.7 so it is a bit wider.
