Is this lens compatible with Canon G series digital Cameras?

I know they make a W-DC58N wide angle lens for the G3, but it IS 58mm thread size on both lens.

And also would the teleconverter I have for my G3 (Canon T-DC58N) work with the GL2? Again it has 58mm thread size.

Well, I do not own a Canon G3, but if both cameras have a 58 mm thread my guess is that the converters can be used on both cameras.
But the WD-58H is a pretty big and heavy converter so I would be carefull screwing it on your G3, could that lens hold the weight?

I have a Raynox MX-3000PRO for my XM2 and I have tried to attach it to my SLR camera, Canon EOS 50, on top of the 28-80mm lens.
It doesn´t work. It wont focus. I suppose that this can be because the semi-fishey onle works on my XM2 at the widest zoom.

I don´t know about other lenses that support a wider zoomrange.

Well I tried my G3 teleconverter on my GL2 and it doesn't work. The GL2 can't focus through it.

So I guess there are different models for a reason :)

viktor how much did you pay for your raynox and how does it compare to the death?

I paid about $200 US at todays exchange rate. It works great and the distortion is very low.

I don´t have anything to compare with though.

Its a semi fisheye at 0.3x and it doesn´t support zooming at all. Only focuses at maximum zoom.
Im thinking of getting a 0.6x Raynox as wll. This one would support full zoom.

The Raynox converters are in my opinion a lot of lens for the $$$

Jeff- From what I have gathered, still camera lenses won't usually work for video.
