Here is a short clip (http://www.judoinfo.com/video/ferguson.mpg) of some video I shot at the Olympic Trials (for Judo). If you look at the interface between the athletes blue gi (uniform) and the red mat, you will see what appears to be a halo? (pausing the video helps). Is this normal for the GL2?

Thanks,
Ming

Red tends to be a messy color for Canon camera. Still, part of what I see is due to compression. Part appears to be actual reflection from the red to the blue.

Where is the clip? Your link is to the main page of a web site.

It is an mpeg1, so should play on any computer. When I click the link, it opens a new IE window and plays the video. Not sure why your seeing a website instead. Try it again?

Ah, your web site is not Mac friendly, so I probably won't be able to help as much. Usually red, blue dispersion is the result of lateral chromatic aberration. See Number 5 in this article (http://www.dvinfo.net/articles/optics/lensdefects.php) on DV Info.
