for starters howzzabout>

14 bit DSP ?
1 lux low light ?
65dB S/N ratio ?
1 Kg lighter ?
flip out screen ?

ya never know.........

maybe the Fireball XL5 will have it all

-50 Mb/s HD to be recorded on miniDV tape. With 20 minutes or so, material on one 60(SD) minute tape. Or 20 minutes on cheap flash media cards like the P2. -Oh and it should be 1920x1080 progressive HD, maybe with DV type codec, not MPEG.

-Make it also come black.

-a 12x lens with OIS, and full manual control of focus, iris and zoom.

-16x9 color viewfinder

-a cheap and small mini35 like adapter for Canons still lenses.

-numbers on the menus

Not to worry you but you remember it so I hope you don't die soon. Good luck

How about we put in a dual tape system for more channels of audio and higher video quality.

A version of the 20x lens where the wide end was truly wide - around 26-28 mm (35mm equivalent).

... come to think of it, Canon will probably call that lense the GL3 ...
