On apple.com it says ships in 1-2 business days but my local apple store says niether they nor the site will have it for a few weeks... what's up?

I've read that third party filters aren't being recognized for some users under FCP 5. Do they work for you?

A note to anyone ordering FCStudio from the site... don't bother paying extra for express or next day shipping. I placed my order at about 10:30 am yesterday with standard free shipping and it arrived TODAY at 3:00 pm! This may be a rare case but, WOW.

Good luck with it. I'm having problems getting Tiger onto my G5 so I haven't been able to play with the FC Studio yet.

Received FCP5 Studio today, but not Tiger. I need to load HDV footage tomorrow, so I'm planning to install FCP5 on 10.3.9... I'll wait for Tiger before installing the rest of the Studio. Wish me luck. Let you know how it turns out.

My rep @ MacMall called yesterday morning to let me know they got their first copies. Mine arrived today before 10:00 a.m.

People started getting copies at the beginning of the week so it makes sense that stores will start getting them in stock.

Does anybody else seem to be having problems with FCP crashing whhen you try to send a clip to motion?
