Anyone out there using the Tascam US428 as an audio control surface with FCP 5/Soundtrack Pro?

I too am trying to get the us 428 to work with soundtrack pro, have you had any luck yet?

I have downloaded the latest drivers( not tiger specific yet) and the control surface driver. Open the prefs in soundtrack and selected the us428... then nothing happens.. I must have missed a vital step.. I will let you know how I get on.

I've not been able to get it to work either, but I've got some thoughts I'm going to try out. Notably, there is an option in the control panel for the tascam to send either tascam native or midi signals...I'm going to play with that.
