View Full Version : What's out there in the way of in camera microphone mounts Aaron Koolen October 28th, 2002, 07:29 PM Although I'm using my ME66 mainly on boom, I would like to mount it onto my XM2 as well for when I can't get an operator. What do you all recommend in the way of mounts and is shockmounting really needed on an oncamera mic? To be able to use the top-handle I use a so called "extension arm" from a Sony microphone (the MS908c). This moves the microphone away from the camcorderbody just enough, and raises the ME66 a bit which keeps it out of the frame.
