Hi-
Here is a sample clip (shot handheld with a quick pan for testing purposes)... I welcome your thoughts on web compression, PP, etc..
Sony EX3 to H264/MP4 Vimeo HD Workflow Test on Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/6940669)
YouTube - Sony EX3 to H264/MP4 Sample Clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NILiH-LAj4&fmt=22)
I'm trying to improve the compression settings to better handle fast pans and also working to optimize PP settings, etc. I'll probably try again with a lower bandwidth setting for streaming. Also, any suggestions on minimum hardware reqs for a new PC/NLE?
The details:
Sony EX3 Stock, Doug Jensen's recommended PP (Thanks, Doug!), 1080/30P (HQ)
Native MP4 file into Premiere Elements 7 (PC) [Ugg- until I can afford the new NLE to replace this 7 yr old Alienware/Canopus box, that is.. Hopefully then I can edit like a true professional again without waiting ages to render or even display HD on the timeline...]
File rendered out as H264/MP4 per Vimeo's guidelines: (Vimeo FAQ (http://www.vimeo.com/help/faq#recommended_settings))
H.264 Codec, 1280x720, 30fps progresive, square px, Bitrate 5000 kbits/sec, Audio AAC Stereo 44Khz.
Thanks again... Hopefully soon I'll be able to post more of the project- if it ever renders, that is... :)
