Ok, I have read a few threads on wide angles for the A1U/HC1 and it seems like the Raynox's are recommended quite a bit.

Most of what I read is kind of old so my questions is in the difference with the Raynox HD-7000PRO and the seemingly newer Raynox HD-6600PRO

I like the little extra I would get form the .66 and in looking at the samples on the Raynox website there doesn't seem to be any difference in distortion between the two.

Does anybody have any experience with the Raynox HD-6600PRO?

Yeah, go with the official Sony wideangle for the HC1. Doesn't distort as much as the Raynox 6600 and looks sharper.

I did pickup the Raynox 7000PRO and I am VERY happy with it's performance!
It's a sweet lens, and now I am thinking I might try one of their tele's
