I just want to share my misery with a JVC BR-DV3000 deck that I purchased.
The heads of the deck gave up after one month and less than 50 head hours.
The experience with the JVC support has been thoroughly miserable - the deck has been in service for more than three weeks and still counting.
At least I do not seem to be alone with this head issue:
