As Sony had discontinued DSR 50P VTR which is capable of recording from Sony DXC-D55 Camera, is it possible to Record from DXC-D55 camera to Datavideo DN400 or Edirol F1 ?

Is it possible to use Nanoflash with DXC-D55 ?

Hello

This is Andy with Convergent Design,

And to answer your question, The Sony DXC D55 would work very well with the nanoFlash depending on which Accessory you have on the Camera, What I mean by this is we require SDI Input or HDMI Input on the nanoFlash, So if you have CCU-TX50P Rear Panel or one of Sony's Various accessories with an SDI Out, it would work with the nanoFlash and give you the ability to record from as low as 3Mb to 50Mb.

If your camera only as the standard Analog out, An alternative would be to buy an Analog to SDI converter so that the nanoFlash would accept the signal,

All three recorders may work very well for your application, but that will all be dependent on if this is more of a studio setup(Everything stationary), to a moving one. as well as Quality Differences.

I would suggest talking to our Manger of Sales Dan Keaton, about possibly getting a demo, or any other suggestions he may have.(Contact info can be found by the link below)
