Just a note of thanks to all who have given freely of their time to give advice on this forum which has helped myself and others like me make informed decisions.

We started a documentary (The Daniel Project) 5 years ago and agonized over the early issues surrounding HD formats. We decided on XDCAMHD and started shooting with the F350 moving to the PDW-700 as soon as it became available, for the majority of the work. The film is now complete and in the hands of distributors.

It’s a controversial film and for some it may be seen as contentious, it was never the less a fascinating production to work on and the XDCAM HD422 format/workflow allowed me to get on with the job in hand regardless of our environment.

We went through many adventures filming with this camera and for those who may be interested in the documentary or production notes, the official website link is:-

Thanks again for all those who give freely of their time to give advice, it is much appreciated.
