Just watched it tonight when a ton of Facebook friends posted it.
Impressive filmmaking... it seems like it will accomplish its goal with its target audience. I admire how he's using his talents.

Its impressive work. Normally I don't like a filmmaker including him or herself but this worked very well. Too many who use this approach fall in the trap of "look at me', but no ego here. A talented filmmaker with a more than worthy cause and innovative ideas about how to make change happen.

Video makes GREAT point about awareness campaigns without a call to action.
I've been re-thinking the #KONY2012 campaign, but it has been incredibly affective for its stated purpose and is a really well-done video. The quality and style of the video is what has impressed me the most in regard to the forum here at DVinfo.

slick propaganda. beware anyone who advocates a military solution to 'help' people (or who are selling bracelets and 'action kits'). i have filmed interviews with Ugandan victims of government soldier atrocities. the issue is not so simple, and the fact that Kony hasn't been in Uganda for 6 years is really telling...
on a video note, i like the 3d photo effect. but i wonder if it will quickly become old/over-used?

Slick production. Must have cost a bit to produce.
From the view of someone who lives in Uganda the content seems terribly outdated.
