It's not worth the time, Kevin, if that was a serious question. Try the D800 instead.

The 7d crops the image to the center of the screen. Once you remove the black bars from the frame what you are left with is a SD image.

Technically the PIX can record the 7d. The image it records due to how Canon outputs its HDMI signal makes the recording worse than the recording from the camera itself.
