hi,

I'm trying to take a long clip (40 mins) and use the start stop detect to add markers and then make subclips. the problem is that it only works for the first 1o mins. of footage and then stops. Any ideas? I can't find a setting that would affect the max number of markers. If that's what the problem is.

Go into the A/V preferences. There is a setting that limits the length of 'Capture Now'. I thought it defaulted to 30 minutes but yours may be set to 10 minutes for some reason or another. At least, I believe that's why it's stopping. Or, you may have a timecode break on the tape at the 10 minute point which may cause it to bail out.

Hope this helps.
