I somehow hit a couple key strokes in FCP 6.06 and turned on some sort of brightness analyzer... Anything in the screen that shows over a certain brightness now has green hatching on it and a warning symbol. Other screen have a green checkmark. What's this called and how do I turn it off?

I'm sure it's something simple... just don't know what it is.

Ha... it was simple.. in overlays it's called 'Show Excess Luma'

I wish software had undo for this sort of thing. I do it all the time in different programs. If you are not intimately familiar with whatever software it is its very easy to turn something on or off and have no idea how to fix it. Programmers should start implementing an undo function, maybe separate from regular undo (since many times these dont count as undoable actions) to deal with the issue.
