Confused: Is It Possible to Attach E-mount Lenses to F3? That's basically it. I'm torn between a used F3 and a FS700, but I am really interested to use the new lenses 18-105 and 17-70 F/4s. Can I use them with F3 or is it PL-only and no adapter available?

Stupid question but I can't figure it out.

I don't think its possible to put E mount on the F3.
I could be wrong but I doubt it

Not possible unfortunately. The FZ mount on the F3 has an 18mm flange distance (it's the short flange that allows it to be adapted to so many different mounts). However the e-mount also has an 18mm flange - so there simply isn't space to fit an adapter without throwing out the flange distance.

Thanks.

I'd love to buy an F3 (especially with the prices now) but I really want to use these new sony lenses, 18-105 especially. Guess FS700 is the best camera that can support them.

Old thread, but I wanted to comment that although I own the very fine Sony 18-105mm f/4, I went and got a Sony F3 anyway! :-D As I can still use all my Nikon F mount lenses on it.
