Does anyone now where I can get a demo in person of the Panasonic AG-3DA1? I'm in Rhode Island. I'm trying to decide if the benefits of an all-in-one 3D camera outweighs the lack of IA control.
Any comments, suggestions or reviews would be most helpful.
I'm going to mostly be shooting from 10 feet to infinity and no close up work (if that helps)

Thanks in advance for all your help!
DAvid

Hi David,
Niice to see you here as well as on the 3d forum :-)

I haven't used any of the cameras that you mention, but have had a JVC GS-TD1 for a while now. I also have a twin rig with the same Panasonic as you, but find the convenience of a twin lens camera and the perfect synch to be so convenient. I can edit in 3d almost as quickly as 2d using the JVC footage.

The 3d lcd screen is also great for getting an idea of what you are shooting and the zoom is also great for reframing shots. The IO is limited, but most of the footage I shoot is in the 10- 30ft range and I can still use the twin rig when I need greater separation.

Good luck with your search for a demo,

Roger
